Project Overview:
Providing a unique, engaging and inviting space on Trafalgar Square for The National Gallery to host educational and drop in sessions for audiences of all ages
By building a structure with glass surround, the engagement space was kept free from thoroughfare. The benefit of the glass meant that those passing by were enticed to get involved. As the North Terrace has very uneven flooring, a fully levelled stage was installed and finished with a combination of astroturf and colourful interlocking flooring.
This project also required external supplier management as well as assisting the gallery with council applications, spatial planning and visual rendering processes.
